Giving Back to Servicemen and Women

By multi_admin

Around here, we value all work. But the work of the men and women in the military ranks at the top of our list. So when we learned about the non-profit Wheelers4Warriors at the 2012 SEMA Show, we immediately knew we wanted to help out. With a mission to rebuild, restore or modify wounded warriors’ project vehicles, it’s hard not to be drawn to the organization.

Whether a vehicle needs to be modified for a warrior who has lost use of his or her legs, needs the shift bar moved, or the engine needs to be completely rebuilt, W4W has the capability and passion to get the mission accomplished. Their volunteer teams are comprised of professionals in the automotive aftermarket, with corporate sponsors providing the parts and services. Red Kap is proud to support W4W by outfitting their volunteers in Crew Shirts and caps.

W4W has completed one build and is nearing the end of the second, for LCpl Sarah Furbur, who was injured while serving in Afghanistan. You can follow their builds on Facebook and help by donating to the cause.
